eine gute und eine schlechte Nachricht / good and bad news

Die gute: Feliz ist fertig.
Die schlechte: ich habe noch keine guten Fotos.

Diese hier habe ich nächtlich nach der Fertigstellung gemacht, und wie jeder weiß, ist das Licht nachts nicht gut. Und: Feliz muss man angezogen sehen. Auf dem Bügel wirkt sie gar nicht.

Und am Morgen hing sie dann beim Geschenke-Tisch:

Ich finde nicht, dass Feliz technisch schwierig zu nähen ist. Oder übermässig kompliziert ist.
Das Nähen ist lediglich - wobei natürlich abhängig vom Betüddelungsgrad - langwierig.
Ich würde mir nicht zutrauen, eine "ganze Feliz" in einem Schwung bzw. an einem Abend zu nähen. Ich habe eine knappe Woche gebraucht und insgesamt so schätzungsweise 20 Stunden.
Naja, vielleicht auch weniger, ich weiss nicht.
Sehr hilfreich zu den äusserst knappen (englischen) Anleitungen im Buch "sewing cloths kids love" war die Foto-Anleitung auf der Farbenmix-Seite.

I finished the FELIZ in time for my daughters birthday. Yeah me!
I am sorry, I don't have any really good pictures by now, I finished at night, and one has to see them worn, on the cloths hanger the dress doesn't stun.

I don't think that FELIZ is difficult to sew or that it is a very complicated construction. But one does need some time to make it. That depends on the embellishments, of course, but I wouldn't recommend a last minute attempt. 
I took me about a week to finish this one, and I would gess about 20 hours. Maybe not that much, but some hours went into it.
Very useful is the photo tutorial on the Farbenmix website, and I know there a pictures and instructions from an american sew along to. The instructions in the book "sewing cloths kids love" are not that elaborated.
