Her mother didn't want me to sew her a birthday dress, but she thought that her daughter would like to have a little purse.
As I knew that my daughter would through at least one major tantrum if she would have to give away something like this without having one of her own, I decided to just make two. I wanted to make one for my daughter for months anyway.
This is a german bag pattern, which I really love. I made an adult bag of this pattern too, it already comes in two sizes, but for the Mini-Ladies I made a 70% version of the smaller one.
It is easy to make, but this petal flap makes it look so cute:
my daughter's
her friend's
On the inside of the flaps, I embroidered the girl's names, and for my daughter, my cell number too.
And this is the adult version I made last year:
If you would like to check out the pattern, go ahead! There are so many pictures, I think you can even use it not understanding a single word german. And if you have any difficulties or questions, feel free to contact me with your questions :-)

AntwortenLöschenYour little girl bags are adorable! I am sure they love them. I like your adult bag, too, in the Denyse Schmidt fabric ... one of my favorites.
