Als wir die letzten Kartons ausgepackt haben, ist mir mein wunderschönes Kokka-Wachstuch in die Hände gefallen (das, woraus ich Fionas El Porto light genäht hatte), und ich wusste sofort:
Daraus nähe ich eine Lieselotte!
Wie berichtet, schnell zugeschnitten war sie, nur der Reißverschluss fehlte mir. Und als ich den dann hatte, die Ruhe zum Nähen.
I found some of this wonderful Kokka oilcloth in a still closed moving box. Yeah! I bought it last year to make Fionas El Porto Bag. It yelled at me: Make a Lieselotte Hoppenstedt out of me! And so I did.
The cutting was no problem (I already have a template), but I didn't have a zipper at home, and after buying the zipper, I didn't find the time to sew.
Heute habe ich sie schnell fertig gemacht, dank dem dicken Kokka-Wachstuch ganz ohne Einlage und alles. Einfach 6 Streifen Stylefix. ein Stücken Webband und ein Stündchen Näh-Ruhe....
Last night I finally had the opportunity to sew, and so I made her. As I didn't hat to cut out or iron on any interfacing (the Kokka oilcloth is pretty thick), I only used 6 stripes of stylefix, a small piece of my wonderfull ribbon and was pretty fast finished.
Statt sie mit Nadeln zu stecken habe ich meine Wunderteile genommen:
Instead of needles I used my clippers to fix
Die hinterlassen nämlich keine Löcher.
because they won't leave little holes.
Innen ein laminierter Stoff, den ich mal bei Charlottas gekauft habe, um eine Kulturtasche zu nähen *dummdidumm*
On the inside, I used a bright laminated fabric I once buyed to make some bags out of it - but never did *öhm*
außen Kokka und ein Stückchen Webband
on the outside Kokka oilcloth and a piece of ribbon
die wandert morgen in meinen etsy-shop. Obwohl ich fast versucht bin, sie zu behalten.
