zu zweit macht es noch mehr Spaß / sewing together is better than alone

Heute hatte ich Simone von seemownay zum Nähen zu Gast.
Wir haben uns supertotes von Noodlehead genäht.
ich habe zwar schon mal ein supertote für einen Swap genäht, aber noch nie für mich.

I already made one for a swap, but never for myself.

Obwohl ich schon alles vorbereitet hatte - Stoff zugeschnitten und mit Einlage gebügelt - bin ich nicht ganz fertig geworden - ich muss noch das Futter zusammensetzen und die Aussen- und Futterteil zusammennähen.

Even though I was well prepared - I cut out all pieces and ironed the stabiliser on - I am not quite finished. I still need to assemble the lining and stitch lining and outer shell together.

Ich hoffe, ich schaffe das viellicht noch heute - obwohl ich noch einen straffen Nachmittag vor mir habe und schon jetzt total müde bin - sonst dann morgen Abend.

I hope I'll be able to do it tonight, but I still have a lot going on this afternoon, and I am super tired. Otherwise tomorrow.

Leider habe ich jetzt beim Reißverschlussteil einen echt dummen Fehler reingehauen - ich habe den Reißverschluss auf der einen Seite viel zu kurz abgesäbelt (wie war das, 2x denken, 1x schneiden?) und ich muss noch mal in mich gehen ob ich das nun alles noch mal auftrenne oder so lasse... Seufz.

Unfortunately, I made a big mistake on the zipper piece, because I chopped of the zipper far to short. Second time I did this in two weeks - what was it, measure twice, cut once? Need someone to put it on a T-Shirt for me (I am wearing a "no regrets" Seam Ripper Shirt. Not Helpful.)
I need to decide wether to leave it this way or re-do it. Sigh.

Ansonsten gefällt mir die Tasche jetzt schon echt gut - nur die Träger könnten irgendwie ein bisschen länger sein ;-)

Otherwise, I already love my bag - though the Straps could be a tad longer.

beim sew along bei Frühstück bei Emma ist schon die Bogentasche dran - mal sehen, ob ich die diese Woche auch noch irgendwie reingequetscht bekomme, die gefällt mir gut ;-)
